SEPTEMBER 1, W! Williamson Rites Held On Sunday Funeral services for Wesley Andrew Williamson, 84, of Route 2, Lena, were held on Sunday, August 29, at 1:30 in the Lena Methodist Church with Rev. Presley Snow and Rev. Lennis Nowell officiating. Interment followed in the Sharron Cemetery in Jones County with Ott 4 Lee Funeral Home in charge. Williamson passed away in the Ieake County Memorial Hospital in Carthage on Friday following an extended illness. He w-as w-as w-as a native of Choctaw County, Alabama and had made his home in Leake County for the past forty-five forty-five forty-five years. He was a member of he Church of Christ and a retired builder. The survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bettie Williamson; one son, 0. F. Williamson of Jackson; three daughters, Mrs. W. T. Chapman of Jackson, Mrs. Robert Shackelford of Jackson, Term., and Mrs. C. M. Froehlick of Arlington, Texas; three stepsons, stepsons, Jeff, Mack and Cassell Adams all of Shreveport, La.; four step-daughters, step-daughters, step-daughters, Mrs. Maggie Clark, Mrs. Ruby Dykes, and Mrs. Artie Webb aU of Shreveport, La. and Mrs. Sue Gilmer of Marshall, Texas; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Hill of Moselle. The pallbearers were William 0. Chapman, Barry Glenn Chapman, Jeff Adams, Benton Webb, and Cassell Adams.
