THE SCOTT COUNTY TIMES AUGUST 18, 1993 PAGE 9A Travis Polk officiated. Interment was made in the Clifton Cemetery in Forest. Mrs. Cumberland passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 1993, at the Scott County Nursing Home in Morton following an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Morton.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Wendell (Joan) Reid of Morton; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth (Jack) Pilgrim of Morton, Mrs. Betty Rose Smith of Eupora, and Mrs. Jean Griffin of Pelahatchie; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jerry Keeton, Tommy Wadsworth, Cassey Reid, Donald Banes, Billy Griffin and Tommy Griffin. Ott Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of Barry Loper, Bobby Hudson, Billy Ray Allen, and Cecil Craham. Ott Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Aubrey Parkman Funeral services for Mr.

Aubrey P. Parkman, 81, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 15, 1993, at the Bethel Baptist Church in Pulaski. Rev. John Russum and Rev. John Carter officiated.

Interment was made in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Pulaski. Mr. Parkman passed away on Friday, August 13, 1993, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson following an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of the Trenton Community in Smith County and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Pulaski. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.

Fannie Mae Parkman of Port Gibson and Pulaski; one daughter, Mrs. Jo Ann Bailey of Port Cibson; three grandchildren, wight Bailey, and Lori Bailey, Scott Bailey; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Perry Kearney, Johnny Parkman, David Hollingsworth, James Goss, Dwight Craft, and Marion Parkman. Ott Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of arrangements. Miss Sailie Robinson Miss Sailie Robinson, 76, passed away Monday, August 9, 1993, at the Riley Hospital in Meridian, MS.

Miss Robinson, a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, MS, was a member of Nanih Waiya Mennonite Church. She is survived by three brothers, Teach Robinson, DcKalb, MS, Billy Robinson and Albert Robinson, both of Philadelphia, MS; two sisters, Patsy Cotton, Philadelphia, MS and Mary Bell, Memphis, Ten Monday, August 16, 1993, at Conva-Rest Health Center of Mendenhall. She was retired from B.C. Rogers Poultry Plant. She was a native of Quitman County, MS.

Survivors include two sons, Olan White of Forest and John White of Brandon; two brothers, J.W. Phillips of Forest, Bill Phillips of Bells, TN; five sisters, Temple Spell, Jackson, MS, Dorothy Craft, Raleigh MS, Bertha Mayfield, Alamo, TN, Mary Boykin and Ethel Henry both of Morton; one step-daughter, Ruby Pearson, Ellisville, MS; twelve grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Melba Cumberland Funeral services for Melba Cumberland, 71, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 12, 1993, from Ott Lee Chapel in Morton.

Rev. nessee. Funeral services for Miss Robinson were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 12, 1993 at the Bogue Chitto Facilities Building. Rev. Ethan Good officiated.

Interment was made in the Robinson Cemetery in DeKalb, MS; Pallbearers were Will Wallace, Ronald Willis, James Davis, Rex Henry, Curtis Thompson, Charles Isaac, and Dolman Willis. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Dovie White Funeral services for Dovie Jane White, 66, were held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 18, 1993, from Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh. Interment was made in the Independent Methodist Cemetery in Morton, MS.

in 1988 and has worked as a consultant at the Gunther Air Force Base in Montgomery until his death. He was a former member of the Lake Methodist Church in Lake. Survivors include three sons, Van Kirk McCombs, II of Tuscaloosa, AL, Mark Allen McCombs of Chapel Hill, NC, and Ronald Douglas McCombs of Atlanta, GA; one daughter-in-law, Dr. Lauren Doyle-McCombs of Tuscaloosa, AL; two brothers, Guy Clifton of Huntsville, AL and Ronald McCombs of Lake; two sisters, Peggy Craven and Lotta McCombs, both of Lake; two grandsons, Mark Douglas McCombs and Kevin Doyle McCombs, both of Tuscaloosa, AL. Pallbearers were his nephews, David Lee Craven, Paul Craven, Brian Craven, Guy McCombs, Steven Lee Weems, Clint McCombs, John McCombs, and Charlie McCombs.

Ott Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of arrangements. Mr. R.L Monk, Jr. Funeral services for Mr. R.L.

(Buck) Monk, 71, were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, August 15, 1993, at the Ott Lee Chapel in Forest. Rev. John Sharp officiated. Interment was made in the Damascus Cemetery in Walnut Grove. Mr.

Monk passed away on Friday, 13, 1993, at his residence in Forest following an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Scott County and attended the Crossroads Church in God in Sebastopol. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Debra Graham of Floresville, TX; three sons, Mr. Rayburn Monk, Mr.

Stan Monk, and Mr. Ricky Monk, all of Sebastopol; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Hebler of Vicksburg and Mrs. Maude Ware of Sebastopol; one brother, Mr. Jeff David Monk of Brandon; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The banquet, which was held at the Ramada Coliseum in Jackson, was host to some 550 employees of Sta-home Health Agency. The recipient of this award is nominated and chosen by her peers. Her outstanding service to patients, her teamwork in the office and her commitment to one-on-one nursing helped to make Mrs. Watkins a perfect choice. Mrs.

Watkins, a resident of Sebastopol, is a Registered Nurse and Team Leader for the Walnut Grove office. She received her nursing degree from MS Baptist Medical Center and has been nursing for 35 years. Before coming to Sta-home two years ago, she worked for Lackey Hospital in Forest as a Charge Nurse.
