Ask Dale, John, Melvin and Edith.

They'll tell you that Forest Community Arts, through the expansive efforts of volunteers and funded by private sector dollars and Mississippi Arts Commission grants, has provided the schoolchildren of Scott County with superlative interaction with the fine arts and has provided opportunities for those children that strained school budgets would not otherwise allow. They'll tell you that FCA spends 100 percent of the funds it receives on programming and services. There are no salaries, no expenses, no "perks" for the all-volunteer board. There is not finer investment that can be made than an investment in bringing children and the arts together. Arts funding at the federal level -hence at the state level, too is in jeopardy.

Forest Community Arts, Inc. is launching a $10,000 county-wide fund-raising effort designed to safeguard the arts programming FCA has provided the people of this county since the organization was founded in 1982. Watch The Times and Northland Cable TV Channel 5 for details. Let's get to the ART of the matter in Scott County in 1998 we need to provide stable funding for Forest Community Arts. It is important? charge of arrangements.
