She is presently employed as a legal secretary with Satterfield Allred in Jackson. Black graduated from The Education Center and Hinds Junior College and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He is presently employed with Southern Vital RecordsDataplex in Jackson. Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m.

on September 6, at Forest United Methodist Church. The reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Friends and relatives of the families are cordially invited to attend. Frank William Colbert, of Forest announces the engagement of his daughter, Jan Elizabeth, to Robert Terace Black, III, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Robert T. Black, of Jackson. Ms. Colbert is also the daughter of the late Billie Joyce Boyles Colbert. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Hilton 0.

Boyles and the late Doha Boyles of Forest, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank William Colbert, of Festus, MO. Black is the grandson of Mrs. Alma Handy of Jackson and the late P.H.

Handy of Oneanta, AL, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Black, of Fayette, AL. Hardwick is from Ann Arbor, MI.

Mrs. Eva Mae Johnson and daughter of Indianapolis, IN, is spending a month with her mother, Mrs. RubyRasco. The Evans reunion was held in Milwaukee on the weekend. Those in attendance from here were Lee Andrew Evans, Mrs.

Eula Mae Burks, Mrs. Mary Rasco, Roger Nick, Larry, Shannon, Ashley and Keshia. A belated birthday greeting to Mrs. Ella Mae Evans, July 28. Mrs.

Evans is 78. 1 hope she will have many more birthdays. Visitors of Mrs. Maude Jones were Wilbert L. Jones of Meridian, Shirley Jones of Jackson, Mr.

and Mrs. Willie E. Jones and children of McComb, and Oliver Holifield Jr. Mrs. Jones said she enjoyed her trip to Water Lou and Des Moines, Iowa and St.

Louis, MO. There in St. Louis, Mrs. Jones attended the Standford and Simpson reunion. She enjoyed the bus tour of St.

Lyles said she really had a big time with her grandson and granddaughter. Mrs. Rosezetta Hardwick, the sister of Mrs. Elnora Morgan, is spending two weeks with her after attending the funeral of the late Bertha Major. Mrs.

The wedding party enjoyed a seafood buffet at Pace's i Place of Conehatta. A reception, hosted by the bride's was held in the fellowship hall of the church. Nupital music was presented by Mrs. Jeanine Leach, organist, Canoy Weaver, pianist, and Chris Collins, vocalist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an elegant gown of white bridal taffeta, featuring a high neck-line, accented with Venise and. re-embroidered alencon lace, with tiny white seed pearls and long fitted sleeves. The full skirt, complimented with matching lace, full from a natural waistline and extended into a cathedral length train, bordered in Venise lace flowers.

For her headpiece, the bride chose a cascade-wreath effect, featuring re-embroidered alencon lace and white pearls, adorned with double tiers of illusion.
