Chester Mitchell are attending Mission school this week at the Seashore Camp Ground on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Samuel Freeman Mosley Mr. and Mrs. James Floyd "Keta" Mosley are the proud parents of baby boy, Samuel Freeman Mosley, born at Lackey Memorial Hospital on August 3rd, and weighed 7 lbs. and 10 oz.

Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Freeman are the maternal grandparents and Mrs.

Norman Johnson, of Philadelphia is the paternal tenant Warren Grey Love, Mount Airy, North Carolina, in an improvised Forest business area and street scene environment, at a late afternoon party on Thursday, July 18, in the home of Mrs. W. D. Lane, with Mrs Hugh Lee reciting the narrative poetical pageant. Introductory entertainment was a love song identification contest, with Mrs Watkins Chip-ley at the piano, which was won by Miss Joan Mendum.

A recording, 'Twas a Few Years Before Creation, a soliloquized history of Forest, followed. The guests were invited to a table, serviced with dainty party refreshments. Room floral decorations were in white, pink and lavender. Miss Boyles was dressed in a champagne colored lace sheath style dress, with turquoise accents. The hostesses were Mcsdames W.

Love of ML Airy, N. was solemnized Saturday, July 20 at 7:30 o'clock at the Doling Street Methodist Church in Jackson. The Rev. II. F.

Carter, pastor of the church performed the double ring ceremony. White candles in a Cathedral candelabra, against a background of palms and baskets of fern formed a setting for the occasion. A Mr. and Mrs. John Bondurant had as guest in their home last Wednesday, Mr.

Bondurant's brother Bondurant of New Orleans, Louisiana. Jayne Ray Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hilton Ray of Jackson are announcing the birth of a daughter, Jayne, born August 1 at Baptist hospital, weighing seven pounds and 1 ounce. Mrs.

Ray is the former Martha Jayne Hunter of Forest. Jayne is being welcomed by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Hunter of Forest and paternal Mr. and Mrs.

W. O. Ray, of Alexandria, La. Dr. and Mrs.

Gilbert Oliver and sons, Gilbert Jr Scott, had as guests in their home several days last week, Mrs. Oliver's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H.

Traweek of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mr. and Mrs. Hillard McMullan and Mrs. V.

L. Smith enjoyed a business and pleasure trip to New Orleans last week. crchid. Miss Jo Anne Armstrong of Greenville was her Maid of Honor. Other attendants were Lynette Glaze of Hattiesburg and Amy Wilkerson of Jackson, both cousins of the bride.

LEMON CLUB NEWS The Lemon H. D. Club held its regular meeting on the bussiest day of the month of July 22 with only a few members present in the home of Mrs. John Currie. The group was led by the vice president.

As the roll was being checked, we all discussed the sort of recreation that our family enjoyed together. Minutes were read and approved and Mrs. J. A. Russum won the surprise package.

For the devotional, Mrs. John Currie read "The Story of Cain and Abel," followed with the group repeating the "Lord's Prayer." Miss Carroll Boyles, bride elect of Lt. Warren Grey Love of Mt. Airy, N. C. was honored with a series of parties in Forest, home of the bride-elect.

The home of Mrs. R. Bailey provided a setting for a miscellaneous shower Saturday evening, June 21 at 7:30. Pastel flowers reflecting the golden sunshine of summer were featured in the table decorations and through out the house. Those who planned the refreshments and decorations used the traditional bridal colors of green and white.

Hostesses for this occasion were Mrs. P. R. Bailey, Miss Lynette Glaze, Mrs. Sylvia June Thornton, Mrs.

Mary Nell Traxler, and Mrs. Clynne Husbands. Their gift to the bride elect was china in her chosen pattern. Mrs. Sylvia June Thornton welcomed the guests and presented them to the honoree.

After refreshments were served to the guests they were entertained writh several interesting games climaxed by the presentation of gifts by Mrs. Mary Nell Traxler of Gulf-port. Miss Lynette Glaze of Miss. Southern College, Hattiesburg, presided at the register. All were cousins of the bride elect Miss Boyles was attired in an ice blue lace with a matching velvet sash with chic flower arrangement.
