The siteseers who spell the word this way are no ordinary tourists spending a few dollars with local merchants. They spell big money. For the sites they seek are plant locations for new industry. Each year we bring hundreds of such siteseers to communities in Mid-America.

Now we're making it easier than ever for them to get a quick pic-' ture of the kind of sites they are seek- ing A telephone call will bring them basic information on any community along this railroad. We're advertising "see the sites" by telephone in national business magazines. And after the initial call, our expanded Industrial Development Department will guide them to the type of location they want. How important industrial develop- ment is can be judged by the fact that at the beginning of this year construe-O tion was under way on 110 new or expanded plants along the Illinois Central. We believe that the'60's will 3 witness even sion, and energy and a reality.
