Eugene Carleton Druggist Phone 469-2242 Forest B. B. Hales, 57, Interred Friday At Beulah Church Funeral services for Burlie Boykin Hales, 57, of Polkville, were held Friday, March 18, at 10:00 a.m. from the Beulah Baptist Church in Smith County with Rev. Emerson Tedder, Rev.

Harris, and Rev. Cecil Pumphrey officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Ott Lee Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Hales passed away in the Scott County Hospital in Morton on Wednesday night following an extended illness.

He was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church and had been employed in the mill business. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Myrtis Smith Hales; one daughter, Mrs. Schley Purvis of Route 4, Jackson; one son, James Hales of Route 4, Jackson; three grandchildren Gwedoyln Hales, Rusty Purvis, and Schley Purvis, his mother, Mrs. Emma Edwards Hales of Slidell, and two brothers, H.

E. Hales, of Slidell, and R. W. Hales of Monroe, La. The pallbearers were A.

George Earl Brown. She fell Monday and broke her arm. We wish for her a speedy recovery.
